Charitable Giving at Shibe Vintage Sports

Anderson Monarchs

Shibe Vintage Sports has a strong tradition of giving back to the community.  We are local Philadelphians with deep roots in the region.  We get to know our customers and care about what's important to them.  We are always active in supporting people that strive to make a difference and have a positive effect on those in need.

Two organizations which receive our on-going support are the Anderson Monarchs and the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign.  A portion of the sale of all Philadelphia Stars shirts go to benefit the Anderson Monarchs.  Our annual toy drive and sales of the Santa Hates Dallas shirt helps PPEHRC deliver gifts to children during the holiday season.

More about the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign:

The Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign is committed to uniting the poor across color lines as the leadership base for a broad movement to abolish poverty. Since its founding in 1998, the Campaign has employed time-tested human rights and civil rights methods – ranging from educating and documenting, to organizing and agitating – to shine a harsh light on poverty in America, and to build the capacity of poor women and men themselves to lead the fight to reclaim their economic human rights.

More about the Anderson Monarchs:

Formed in 1995, the Anderson Monarchs are a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization based in South Philadelphia. Since the organization’s inception, Monarchs programs have been providing opportunity to underserved youth in Philadelphia. Our programs include instructional sports leagues; high level soccer, basketball and baseball teams; camps and clinics; and off-field support such as leadership and character development, high school and college prep, and opportunities for travel and exposure.
