From 1976-1997, Philadelphia sports fans watched their games on PRISM which stood for Philadelphia Regional In-Home Sports and Movies. Some people had a cable subscription, but many just used a descrambled "hot box". Either way, PRISM was a Philly sports institution broadcasting Phillies, Flyers, Sixers, Big 5 and WWF matches for over two decades.
FUN FACT: It was founded by Ed Snider, who was the owner of the Flyers and the Spectrum...in fact, it was said that the network was called "PRISM" because it allowed one to see the "Spectrum", as it televised Flyers and Sixers games.
Part of the Shibe Originals collection - designs by Philly artists and exclusively available at Shibe Vintage Sports.
Super soft material and colorful graphics. Unique designs you don’t see elsewhere especially for retro fans
Awesome shirt! Nice feel and great fit
My brother and I grew up watching the Sixers, Phillies and Flyers on PRISM and were huge fans - despite the teams being mostly awful then - plus the Great Sports Debate! This made for a perfect gift. Great price and fast, easy delivery too
