The Spectrum, or America's Showplace, called South Philly its home from 1967 to 2009 and played host to just about everything under the sun. The 76ers and Flyers each won championships while playing there, including ten championship series in total. Two Final Fours took place on site, both won by Indiana coach Bob Knight. The Grateful Dead (53 times), Bruce Springsteen (42 times), and Aerosmith (23 times) were among the musical legends known to frequent the arena as well as countless others. The list goes on and on, cementing The Spectrum's value as a venue for sport and art.
