Pigment washed twill unstructured crown with curved brim and adjustable self-fabric backstrap. Die cut embroidery with cotton thread on front.

The Stars were founded in 1933, and played in Philadelphia's West Parkside neighborhood, at the Pennsylvania Railroad YMCA Athletic Field at Belmont and Parkside Avenues. On Monday nights, they would often play at Shibe Park.

Led by lefthanded twirler Slim Jones, the team won the 1934 Negro National League championship. Their home games at that time were played on Passon Field, which today is the home field for West Philly High School.

Great Hat

Photo on the site doesn’t do this hat justice. Really great color and overall look.

Good value in my purchase

Great cap with the STARS's "P" in unique script. Well made cap, great color, and easily adjusted for size. Proud to be wearing this product!

Great Cap

One of the most comfortable and well finished caps I have ever had (and I have a large head). Adjusts great with no slippage (even in a convertible)

Better than expected

My Philadelphia Stars hat was better than expected and much better than the pictures. The quality of the cap is wonderful and I am wearing my hat as I write this. Thanks
