The second installment of Pro League Authentics' series "Jerseys as Art" was on Thursday, May 10. This presentation featured former Mitchell & Ness president and throwback uniform expert Peter Capolino discussing and exhibiting jerseys going back decades to the all-flannel era.
In addition to Peter's presentation, Brad Bierman shared a collector's look at virtually all of the commemorative jersey patches ever worn by the 30 major league clubs, some 250 patches in all. Last, local architect Rich Villa discussed the siting of Major League ballparks in metropolitan Philadelphia, and his conceptions and renderings of proposed future ballparks in the city.
