College Football in 2012-2013 is almost officially over. The BCS National Championship game will be played in New Orleans on Monday January 7th, 2013. The game will be between the University of Alabama and the University of Notre Dame. But before those two titans clash in the bayou arena, fans should look to the Alamodome for some pigskin action. The U.S. Army All American Bowl, featuring some of the best high school football players in the country. NFL players who have previously played in this game include Adrian Peterson, Andrew Luck, DeSean Jackson, and Joe Thomas. This game is purely a showcase, a way to show off the best high school talent in the country. Given that the U.S. Army sponsors and puts its name on this game, the uniforms the players wear often have some similarities to the U.S. Army. This year, the organizers have changed the uniforms, going with subtle camouflage on the helmets. The colors will still be yellow and black, but the uniforms now have subtle camo checkered pattern on the helmets, jerseys and the pants. It’s a solid way to make reference to the Army, but not go overboard.
