Philadelphia Phillies 1938 Billy Penn logo navy adjustable cap

| /

To celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Swedish settlers in Philadelphia and their Quaker roots (the team was originally called "Quakers" from 1883-1889), the Phillies wore a Swedish blue and yellow version of its uniform for the season along with the William Penn logo patch.

We've recreated the patch on an adjustable navy blue cap for an exclusive design you can only find at Shibe.

FUN FACT: In addition to this Phillies uniform, the colors of the Philadelphia flag and the original NFL team in the city, Frankford Yellow Jackets, are both inspired by the Swedish flag.

Phillies 1938 Billy Penn logo cap

I have had this hat for about two weeks now and have had to answer countless questions of what it is, where can I get one, and can you give me Shibe’s web address. Shibe comes through yet again with a really unique piece of Philadelphia sports history. I can’t sing your praises enough. You all rock with unique Philly sports gear and you get a history lesson to boot. Cheers Shibe!

Awesome cap with an awesome logo!

All I have to say is THANK YOU!!!! To Shibe for having this cap made! I have a replica of the 1938 Phils jersey, and now I have something to wear everyday to start conversations with people about this obscure bit of Phillies history! Comfortable cap, one that feels great to wear!

I have to admit. I have a big, Polish head. The caps I’ve bought from Shibe are quality and extremely comfortable. And, in addition, Shibe offers the best customer service around
