1983 Sixers Starting Five T-shirt

The 1982-83 Sixers had a remarkable starting 5, who propelled them to their 2nd ever title. Starting at point guard was Little Mo, Maurice Cheeks. The future Hall of Famer was known for his terrific defense and unselfish team play. Big Mo was Moses Malone, who had been acquired by the Sixers in the offseason before the 1982-83 season. After the Sixers went 65-17 in the regular season, Big Mo was asked how they'd do in the playoffs. "Fo-Fo-Fo" was his response. He was nearly proven prophetic, as they lost just one game in the playoffs. The Doctor hardly needs any introduction, as Dr. J is one of the most beloved athletes in the history of this city. Andrew Toney was also known as the Boston Strangler, as he seemed to save his best when he ran up against the Celtics in big games. And the starting 5 was rounded out by Marc Iavaroni, who joined the Sixers in 1982 after several seasons in Italy.

The shirt was based off of an original that came out in the early 80s. It's printed on an ultra comfortable Next Level tri-blend t-shirt. *Sizes 3XL & 4XL are on 100% GIldan t-shirts.
