This installment of our stadium series features the Cathedral of College Basketball! The Palestra hosted it's first game on January 1, 1927, where Penn would top Harvard in front of a crowd of 10,000 people, which at the time was the biggest crowd to watch hoops game on the East Coast. The Palestra is still used to this day, hosting all Penn home games, as well as many of the Big 5 round-robin matchups. In fact, it's hosted more college basketball games than any arena in the country!
We honor the Cathedral of College Basketball with these remarkably comfortable Next Level shirts with artwork designed by Philadelphia artist Jon Billet.
This tri-blend shirt is 50% Polyester, 25% Cotton, and 25% Rayon.
