Veterans Stadium was built in 1970 as a multi-sport stadium to house the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Located in South Philadelphia and surrounded by parking lots, it was the modern successor to Shibe Park and Franklin Field. For over 30 years, fans packed into the coliseum-like stadium with the most notorious "boo-birds" occupying the infamous 700 Level at the top.
The artwork is designed by Philadelphia artist Scott Siano and is printed on "envy green" colored Next Level tri-blend shirts (50% Polyester, 25% Cotton, and 25% Rayon). The sizes 3XL and 4XL are 60% cotton and 40% polyester.
Part of the Shibe Originals collection - designs by Philly artists and exclusively available at Shibe Vintage Sports.
So excited to find these - can't wait to give to my brothers for Christmas.
Another great Ode’ to baseball in Philly! Added this shirt to my collection of stadium tees. (Connie Mack + Shibe Park). Great quality and soft feel. Mad Props to you all at Shibe! Keep em’ coming!
My brother loved the shirt. THE VET may not have been a classic stadium, but it holds alot of great memories for Philadelphia Phans.
Love the vet stadium t it’s the spirit of philly
One of the most beautiful shirts I've ever owned because of how I can't complain about any details on it. The softness of the shirt, the fit of it for a big guy like myself AND the details on it....again, no complaints, worth the price!
