We're celebrating some of the greatest players in Philly Sports History.
Jimmie Foxx played first base for the Philadelphia Athletics from 1925 to 1935. In ten seasons with the A's, Foxx slashed .339/.440/.640 with 302 home runs and 1,075 RBIs. A three-time American League MVP award winner, Foxx finished his storied 20-year career in Philadelphia with the Phillies in 1945. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame by the BBWAA in 1951.
The artwork is designed by Philadelphia artist Bill Strobel and is printed on blue Bella Canvas blend shirts (52% Cotton, 48% Polyester). The size 4XL is 100% cotton.
Part of the Shibe Originals collection - designs by Philly artists and exclusively available at Shibe Vintage Sports.
The " Double XX " baby blue t-shirt is both cool looking, but one of the most comfortable shirts I have ever worn. Very typical of the high quality of Shibe's products. No wonder it is my favorite store.
Great shirt just wish the Athletics "A" was visible either on the hat and/or jersey.
I have this photo which was used for this shirt and the "A" was obvious on both the jersey and the hat.
Otherwise nice shirt ESPECIALLY to remember the GREATEST baseball team in Philly, as well as the GREATEST BASEBALL PLAYER IN PHILLY...
THE BABE RUTH OF PHILLY ! ! !
Another winner to add to my growing collection of Shibe A’s t-shirts. Very comfortable and a great shade of blue.
