Celebrate the history of the Philadelphia City Series.
From 1903 to 1954 (with a few exceptions) the American League Philadelphia Athletics and National League Philadelphia Phillies met for an annual exhibition to determine the top professional baseball team in town. Without interleague play at the time, the City Series presented the opportunity for the A's and Phillies to play in a yearly tradition.
